WatchI am convinced we can create public spaces, gardens and spaces for play in places that are today only covered with roads. I discussed this a bit a few months ago, here.

Found this on streetsblog.org and thought it was an inspiring little piece, especially given the fact Mile-End is hosting its own “block party” on Sept. 26 on St-Viateur Est between St-Laurent and De Gaspé … (note: our block party even moves as the day progresses, starting on St-Viateur in the morning, and finishing up on De Gaspé and in the field in the evening).
