imagine (le) mile-end.

re-imaginer notre ville / re-imagine our city

some more park(ing) photos…

Thanks to Ted Wright for passing along his photos of the park(ing) event we did at the 5th Annual Citizen Summit in Montréal, on June 6 (all the photos in this post are his).

We are already thankful for making the effort to get out on the street, since one of the folks we met that day is now getting involved with the Mile-End Citizen Committees. You should check out his blog, if you like design and shaking things up a little.

Speaking of which, one of our favourite bloggers showed up to hang out on the street lawn that day (although we didn’t manage to get him on film). If you love nature AND cities, you should definitely follow Roger Latour’s perambulations.

Here come the pics…

Thanks Urban Ecology Centre for putting on the Citizen Summit, once again. Amazing!

street lawn 7

Ahhh, street lawn. I’m not usually big on lawn, but it is so much nicer than asphalt!
